I kind of wandered about for a bit, then thought, "hey I bet Oppo would wanna see these, I'll snap some random pics".
photographer details: shot with my phone, from my hip, without looking at the screen (because sunny) and then auto-corrected for brightness and colour (because sunny)
is he saluting me?
I think we can assume oppo/jalopnik will like this side exhausting boxy v8'd volvo
how small is this Lotus? that guy next to it is sitting in his wheelchair
coolest car there, a classic chain driven beasty. didn't hear it run sadly, it was there before I arrived and left after I did
classic motoring, you'll need a hammer
just love the diversity C&C shows have
Rut... Rutledge Wood!?
yup, rusty hooded daily, everything at these shows
If I had to pick a car from the show to take home, it'd be the R32 in white
somebody was parked in the back lot before getting a paved space :D
there was a level of douche surrounding this R34, walking past I overhead "swapped VINs" sooo.... that's neat
one of two new I8s at the show
of course, scissor doors
the colour (not captured well here) of this VW was stunning
love the crowd around the Ferrari, I'd take the NSX over the Ferrari in a heartbeat
white and black themed, I liked it. appeared to be a lot of VERY young kids with BMWs at the show (yes, I'm judging you)
in person the thing that struck me most was the way the roof swooped down the rear fender
had a flat tyre rolling in, and there was a certain flat brimmed crowd surrounding it.
nothing says high class automobile like a car toys radio install
if you are going to sell coffee at a cars and coffee event, its nice to have a stylish van to do it from
so SOOO much engine revving from these bright yellow douches.
I like have these wheels
they moved themselves to be best buds
well well well, lookie what opponaut's car I saw
yeah, it was INSANELY sunny on Saturday, had to hit the park for some scooter races with my son

the level of douche from some of the engine revving and burnout morons was kinda frustrating though. the line of folks standing in the median waiting for drivers to show off probably didnt help

I have seen people driving knockoff equipped cars that didnt have a brass hammer in the trunk. Might as well have no jack. Clueless "why would I need that?"

he had a very tidy little tool kit with him, leather bound and fairly oily, it fit perfectly with the car. but yeah, the hammer is pretty essential

because it's a very casual show, before I started snapping pics I saw a Mclaren, but it drove off. And there were a slew of muscle cars, but I guess thats not really my thing so I didn't snap them.

Not gonna lie - gun to my head, had to take home one and only one thing here, it would probably be the Divco.

cars and coffee is very much just turn up and talk cars, so the parking lot is littered with just random cars. I parked in a field out the back to avoid such comparisons being made of my toy though :D

dont need anything fancy to go out and see other people's fancy. I rolled to the show in my civic, and parked way in the back and had a splendid time

If you used your hands to try to hammer those wheel nuts off, you would be really thor.

roadside experience
LOL, I've never had had to do that.
Side of the road or not, swinging a hammer is still the most scary things to do around painted surfaces.
The wheels on some of these cars are tucked up in the wells, so it's never a straight shot with the hammer.
Some really paranoid guys use something like this whenever they can.

I didn't pay much attention to it aside from the black Z...the Silverstone Z that I wasn't behind the wheel of didn't really show off, as much as he got bored of sitting at a stop sign, so hit the throttle..in 3rd going 15....and lit up his tires... Then everyone looked at me behind him and I'm just like..yeahhhh..mines stock, soooooo...not happening.

yeah, I didn't want to part of the problem (or stall in front of a crowd) so I went right at the stop sign and did a U-turn down the block to avoid spectators eyes

I had to keep up with the Z that I just mentioned spinning his 295 wide tires like nothing, because the VQ CO group was going to eat together at Twin Peaks, and..I don't know Denver that well :P So I had to follow and be like..yeah, my cars slow, and now he's way infront of me -.-
